Our So Called CP Life (raising a child with Cerebral Palsy)

It was Thanksgiving day back in 2002. I was only 23 years old and my life forever changed on that day. I had a placental abruption and Brendan was born at 33 weeks. He lost oxygen during delivery due to incompetent care but was a fighter and turned 17 this year. My journey in life over the past 17 years took many turns I was not expecting but I try to stay strong and have my husband by my side even when I am not.

About Me

We take it day by day
I am a mother and a wife. I love my family. They are my #1 priority! I have 5 children and my oldest, Brendan has cerebral palsy, a visual impairment, and ADHD. He steals a ton of attention from the rest of the family but that is what he needs right now. He never stops progressing and I love watching him accomplish the little things in life. He has been through a lot which means I have been through a lot but in the end it has made me a stronger person.
